The Sunshine Coast Multiple Birth Association Inc (SCMBA) is your local not-for-profit organisation run by and for multiple birth families. We have supported families on the Sunshine and Cooloola coasts since 1982. During this time, we have helped over 1,000 families along their journey of parenting multiple birth children and their siblings.

The association's primary role in the community is providing education, support and social inclusion for families with multiple birth children.  Our members face unique challenges during pregnancy, birthing and parenting their multiples, and SCMBA offers up-to-date research and information about best practice support for both parents and their children.

We offer playgroups, expectant parent information sessions, education events covering topics such as nutrition, sleep and behaviour; and social events for families and parents only.  These activities give our members the knowledge they need to be empowered and confident parents, with the added bonus of valuable personal and social connections.

SCMBA aims to contribute towards building families’ confidence in raising and parenting their children.  We are affiliated with Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA) and we collaborate to make volunteering to support events and fundraising a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.

BYO everything and come and enjoy a catch up. This would suit all ages. There's a bike track and flying fox for older kids and a lower playground and grassy area for little ones. We'll pop a big rug out in the shade for mums with little bubs too. Come anytime that suits you during the morning and hopefully we'll have some crossovers!   This playground is fenced and has toilets. Expectant parents are always welcome at our events, it's great fun to meet  parents of multiples and ask questions. We're a freindly bunch!   Please grab a ticket for your family, that way we can look out for you.
